We grew up around fishing, logging, and oil and gas towns, where a handshake was the contract and service meant showing up. Our careers coincided with the first recognizable industrial firewall, early intrusion detection (IDS) before the emergence of the “big players”, active asset management R&D, and scaling software and binary supply chain analysis.
Out in the field we learned one thing: there is enormous room to do better. The people who own and operate these systems deserve technology that meets them where they are — and helps their teams do far more with what they already have.
DacTAPE is our answer. Acquire the data cheaply, cleanly and securely, support multiple functions and roles simultaneously, drive invaluable day-to-day actions and augment the resources doing the job, and let the cyber-tools, the countless siloed investments, the Digital Twins and the AI upstream finally earn their keep.

A general model applied to an environment it cannot see produces plausible answers about nothing in particular. Context — which assets, which dependencies, which normal — is what turns capability into a decision someone will act on.
